Android 11 has been in development for the Samsung Galaxy A30 for nearly a year now, but now the Seoul giant seems to be stepping up the One UI 3.1 issue for the device. The Samsung Galaxy A30 (SM-A305F / DS) has been pinched into the Wi-Fi Alliance database with an entry updated as of May 4th that it can be inferred that the phone is running Android 11.
The official roadmap suggested that the device would receive the upgrade to One UI 3.0 in July 2021 , at least as far as the Egyptian market is concerned , but now we know that the next update will most likely correspond to One UI 3.1., which could also arrive in July (which is also confirmed by the fact that some other phones of the original roadmap have received the upgrade in advance, testifying to the good work that the OEM is doing in terms of software support, but not only). The Asian manufacturer recently scaled the Samsung Galaxy A30 from the quarterly to the semi-annual update schedule, even having the phone received the April 2021 security patches about two weeks ago. The issue seems not to have interfered with the update plans of the South Korean company regarding the One UI 3.1, which, as we said above, should still arrive at the turn of the month of July (there would be, in theory, a couple of months to the great pass, provided that the timetable is respected).
There is to be satisfied with the work done by the development team of the Seoul giant for the Samsung Galaxy A30, which, as a mid-range device, is showing important things from the point of view of the software attention paid by the Asian manufacturer.
